Membership & Community Partners

The Skagit County Child and Family Consortium is an environment where we actively network and share resources to ensure our youth and families in Skagit County have the tools necessary to be productive community members. General Membership shares ideas and insights from their perspective to make sure there is non-duplication of services as well as cooperative and complementary support services for youth and families in Skagit. The Consortium uses data for decision making, best/promising practice strategies as program choices, and on-going evaluation. In addition, the Consortium works collaboratively with other community partners to provide evidence based programs and to raise awareness of the value of prevention and sound prevention techniques. Consortium members can promote these opportunities by attending trainings and community meetings, encouraging others to attend, and by sharing information.
